Knorr-Bremse offers students in technical and business-related fields of study internship positions and work-study programs dthroughout their studies. This provides an excellent opportunity to gain a first look at the practice and apply learned theory.
We also offer various topics for senior theses (graduate, bachelor’s or master’s) that allow you to bridge the gap between research and practice. Your topic will be supported by a mentor from the respective specialty division.
In Germany, we employ about 250 students per year.
Each year, more than 30 students are offered a permanent position with the company!
We are represented at a number of trade shows every year. There, you’ll have the opportunity to establish your first personal contact with us. HR staff and employees from our specialty divisions will gladly answer your questions at our booth.

Pre-study internship/production internship
Are you interested in a technical course of study and need a pre-study internship? We offer you the opportunity to complete this pre-study internship at Knorr-Bremse. You’ll get a first-hand look at our trainee center as well as our production division, thus gaining valuable first experience to complement your studies.
