For the fifth time running, Knorr-Bremse has been voted "Best Brand" in the commercial vehicle sector in the brakes category. Publishers ETM and the DEKRA technical inspectorate had asked readers of the commercial vehicle trade magazines lastauto omnibus, trans aktuell and FERNFAHRER for their views. The readers judged the various brands in 22 different categories and some 8,000 commercial vehicle professionals sent in their votes.
"Winning this award again spurs us on to continue providing our customers with top quality, innovative and competitive system solutions to the challenges of the commercial vehicle market," said Knorr-Bremse AG board member Klaus Deller, who stepped up to receive the award at a ceremony in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart yesterday, with numerous representatives of the commercial vehicle industry looking on. The Best Brand competition provides important insight into the level of acceptance and the image that brands enjoy in expert circles. "We are particularly proud that Knorr-Bremse was voted Best Brand for the fifth time in succession despite the difficult market environment," added Deller. "And we'd like to thank the readers for the trust they place in us."
