EP1001 is a unique, self-powered, anti-lock brake system specifically developed for freight wagon applications. The system in most cases can be fitted to new build wagons and in most cases retrofitted to existing ones. The system provides a solution to the potentially dangerous, disruptive and expensive problem of wheel tread damage, such as “flats” caused by locking wheels as well as rail damage.
